Frequently Asked Questions
Regarding COVID-19: We are doing our best to protect the health of our customers and staff by following the guidelines set out by the CDC. Work stations are regularly cleaned and sanitized. Precautions have been taken by our team members by practicing safe social distancing and wearing masks and gloves while handling any product. We want your slime to be safe and stress-free :)
Warning: Do not ingest slime or borax. Do not use on broken or abraded skin. Wash hands before and after slime use. Keep away from hair, fabric, and animals. Do not use on porous surfaces as product may stain.
Our previous 6 fl oz slime jars have an overfill capacity of 7.2 fl oz. 8 fl oz slime jars have an overfill capacity of 11 fl oz.
Slime may slightly deflate 0.2 fl oz - 1 fl oz. Overfill capacity means to fill up the jar past the fill line so that the product will be touching the lid.
Starting August 8th, 2021 our new 6 fl oz slime jars have an overfill capacity of 8.1 fl oz

WHERE DO I PURCHASE SLIME SUPPLIES?

SLIME CARE & PLAY
My slime is sticky. What do I do?
Your order should have borax powder and instructions included to make slime activator!
First, mix 1/2 - 1 tsp of borax into 1 cup of water to make your slime activator. Add a few drops of the slime activator into your slime and knead. Repeat if it is still sticky. Make sure to drop in very little at a time or your slime will over activate and become hard. *Remember, slime is made with glue so it should always be a little sticky!
My slime is hard. What do I do?
Slime may arrive stiff due to cold weather. This can be easily fixed by warming it up in your hand. You can also add lotion, baby oil, or warm water into the slime. For butter slime and other clay slime, you can also add in some milky slime.
How long will my slime last?
Slime should last for a long time as long as it is taken care of properly. Always keep it in an airtight container and a cool environment. Make sure to wash your hands before and after playing with slime so that it does not get dirty and produce bacteria.
However, slime does not last forever since it is a liquid substance! Slime will lose its moisture and may shrink or melt overtime. We recommend rejuvenating it with a few drops of water every once in awhile :) Slime that is properly cared for should last for a few months.
How do I make slime activator?
Add in 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of borax powder into 1 cup of water and mix until all the powder has dissolved. The bag included in your order should include about 1/2 tsp of borax!
How old do you have to be to play with slime?
You can be any age to play with slime! However, we recommend our products to ages 8 and up, unless under adult supervision. Please keep slime away from small children and animals.
How do I drizzle my cloud slime? Why is my cloud slime crumbly?
Here’s a video tutorial on how to play with and drizzle a cloud slime. Keep in mind that our cloud slimes are recommended for more advanced slime players. Our recipe is much denser and fluffier than most other clouds slimes. If your cloud slime arrives crumbly, it is most likely melted. Add some activator to make it less crumbly. If your environment or hands are too warm, you may need to add some more slime base.
How do I inflate my slime?
Most slimes can be inflated if you have the experience. Clay and butters are among the easiest to inflate. It’s simple! Just keep stretching and folding. This allows the slime to capture air, allowing it to inflate and become airy.

Currently, all of our slimes are sold in 6oz wide screw top polypropylene jars. 8oz jars are out of stock.
What is included in my order?
Your order will come with a Slimeowy thank you card that also contains instructions on slime care and activator preparations. There will also be Borax powder/solution and extras (candy, snacks, squishies).
How is my order packed?
Slimes shipped in a bubble mailer will be bubble wrapped. Slimes shipped in boxes are packed with packing peanuts, paper, air bubbles, and/or bubble wrap. Everything should be secure and packed carefully to ensure that your product arrives safely to your door!
PROCESSING AND SHIPPING
When will my order be shipped out?
Please keep in mind that our business days are Monday-Friday.
Once your order has been placed, we typically take 4-7 business days(1.5weeks) to process and ship out your order! Although in some cases, orders may be processed within 9 business days.
We will contact you if we find a cheaper shipping option. Cheaper shipping options can be made available on a case-by-case basis.
How long does it take for my order to arrive?
Your order will usually take 4-7 business days (up to 1.5 weeks) to process. After processing, the package is then dropped off at the post office and will be delivered in 1-5 business days depending on the shipping method. International orders usually take 2-3 weeks to arrive.
Do you ship internationally?
Temporarily only offering USPS Priority International.
Flat rate fee for up to 4 (6oz) slimes. DIY clay slime takes up 2 spaces.
International flat rate fee: $38.00 USD, Canada flat rate fee: $28.00 USD
We currently only ship internationally to Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Korea (the Republic of), Morocco, New Zealand, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Shipping to Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom have been temporarily paused.
We are not responsible for customs fees or delays.
Customs fees are applied at random by your country's border patrol organization.
PAYMENTS AND SECURITY
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Apple Pay. Unfortunately, we DO NOT accept PayPal at the moment.
Is your site secure? Will my billing/card information be safe?
Yes! Our site is safe and secure. Our web server is SSL certified, which ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral. All of our payments are processed using Stripe Payments, which holds the most stringent security certification in the payment industry.
